Kinza, one of the fastest-growing soft-drink brands in Saudi Arabia, will exhibit at the Malaysia International Halal Showcase (MIHAS) 2026 in Kuala Lumpur from 23 to 26 September 2026 to pursue manufacturing and distribution partnerships in Malaysia, Indonesia and other Southeast Asian markets. The company positions Malaysia and Indonesia as strategic entry points for its regional expansion, planning to establish local production capabilities to better serve consumer demand.
Saudi Heritage Meets Southeast Asian Markets
Kinza’s expansion strategy emphasizes building partnerships across manufacturing, distribution, retail, foodservice and e-commerce channels in both target countries. In Malaysia, the company seeks to collaborate across all key sectors while introducing its carbonated soft-drink portfolio, which includes cola, lemon, orange, citrus, blackcurrant and pomegranate flavours, alongside zero-sugar products, soda water and energy drinks. In Indonesia, Kinza plans to focus on product taste, affordability and distribution through retail chains, independent stores, foodservice and e-commerce platforms tailored to local purchasing habits.
The brand’s international sports sponsorships, including its role as Strategic Sponsor of the Spanish Super Cup and French Super Cup and Official Drink of FIBA West Asia Super League (WASL), support its global visibility efforts. These partnerships align with Kinza’s ambition to build a globally recognized Saudi consumer brand that combines authentic identity with product quality and competitive value. Since its launch in Jeddah, the company has reached 75 markets across five continents.
“Kinza was born in Saudi Arabia, and our ambition has never been limited by geography,” said Bandar Okrin, Chief Executive Officer of Al Jameel International and Kinza. “Southeast Asia represents an important next chapter in our international growth.” Okrin added that the company’s success in Saudi Arabia, the GCC and the Levant provides a foundation for entering new markets while maintaining cultural resonance with consumers.
Local production would enable Kinza to reduce supply lead times and logistics costs while adapting package sizes, pricing, product mix and marketing strategies to meet Southeast Asian consumer preferences. It is actively seeking contract manufacturing and industrial partnerships based on local capabilities, market potential and commercial feasibility. Jeddah will remain a key production and export base as Kinza develops complementary international manufacturing capabilities.
Independent consumer and retail research commissioned by Kinza indicates high brand awareness and strong consumer engagement in its existing markets, with significant market-share development since launch. The company believes a new generation of consumers is increasingly open to discovering brands with distinctive identities and authentic stories that reflect their tastes and lifestyles.
Partnership Focus at MIHAS 2026
Kinza will showcase its offerings at Booth F01 during the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre in Kuala Lumpur from 23 to 26 September 2026. Visitors can participate in tasting sessions and share feedback on preferred flavours and formats for the Southeast Asian market. The booth includes a private partner area for commercial discussions with prospective manufacturing, distribution, retail, and foodservice collaborators.
The company targets established local partners capable of developing the brand through manufacturing, distribution, retail, foodservice, and e-commerce channels. These partnerships aim to create sustainable local businesses that grow alongside consumer demand. Kinza seeks partners with proven execution capabilities, deep market knowledge, and the infrastructure needed for nationwide distribution.
Building Sustainable Market Foundations
Indonesia represents another strategic focus where Kinza prioritizes taste, affordability, and distribution through channels aligned with local purchasing habits. The approach includes retail chains, independent stores, foodservice establishments, and e-commerce platforms. Kinza intends to refine its local portfolio through consumer feedback and market experience gained during this expansion phase.
