Temperley London appoints new CEO and director

Temperley London has completed its leadership restructuring with two new appointments. Two weeks after founder Alice Temperley’s departure, the brand has chosen Morgaine McGee as its new CEO and Jack Isenberg as design director.

The appointments, announced through the brand’s social media channels, come ahead of the presentation of its spring-summer 2027 collection in September.

New Leadership

Morgaine McGee brings over 20 years of experience in the global fashion industry to her new role. Since 2016, she has been the CEO of The Vertical Collective, a fashion consultancy firm she co-founded with Katherine Zabloudil. Prior to that, she served as managing director of Signal Brands, a company involved in licensing and accessory production.

On the creative front, Jack Isenberg joins Temperley London after a stint as head of design at Tom Ford, a role he held from March to September 2024. A graduate of Central Saint Martins, Isenberg has worked with prominent fashion houses such as Valentino, Giambattista Valli, Versace, Elie Saab, and Roberto Cavalli.

Background

The appointments mark the completion of Temperley London’s managerial restructuring process, which began after the brand’s acquisition by Times Square Group and its investment arm Luxutte Capital in late 2023. At the time, the Dubai-based group acquired a controlling stake in the British fashion house, aiming to enhance its strong presence in the United Arab Emirates and accelerate its global expansion.

With these new appointments, Temperley London is poised to embark on a new chapter in its history, one that will likely be shaped by the combined expertise of Morgaine McGee and Jack Isenberg. As the brand prepares to showcase its spring-summer 2027 collection, it will be interesting to see how these new leaders will influence its creative direction and overall strategy.

Future Prospects

In the middle of this significant change, it’s worth considering how Temperley London’s new leadership might impact the brand’s position in the global fashion market. Given Morgaine McGee‘s experience in the industry and Jack Isenberg‘s creative background, the brand may be well-placed to handle the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. As the fashion industry continues to evolve, Temperley London’s ability to adapt and innovate will be key to its success.

The brand’s upcoming collection will likely be closely watched by industry observers, who will be eager to see how Morgaine McGee and Jack Isenberg will put their stamp on the brand’s designs and overall aesthetic. With their combined expertise, Temperley London may be poised for a resurgence, one that could see the brand regain its position as a major player in the global fashion market.
